Chief Executive Officer
Kevin Bullock is a registered Professional Mining Engineer in the province of Ontario. Kevin was Volta Resources Inc.’s President and CEO and was the founding President and CEO of Goldcrest (a Volta predecessor company) since its inception in 2002. Kevin was instrumental in the growth of Volta from a shell company through to the ultimate sale of the company to B2Gold at the end of 2013. Kevin has over 25 years of experience, at senior levels, in mining exploration, mine development and mine operations. Throughout his career, Kevin has been involved in projects from inception through exploration to development and production.
President and Director
Ms. Evans, founder of Golden Reign, is a Certified General Accountant with extensive experience in both the junior mining sector and the corporate securities industry. Ms. Evans has 17 years’ experience as a director and/or officer, working with a number of public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Mr. John Conlon has been involved in the mining industry since 1972, first as owner of Webcon Equipment Inc. He has over 40 years experience in the resource industry. Prior directorships include Western Canadian Coal Corp., Cambrian Mining PLC, Coal International Limited and Xtract Energy PLC.
Mr. Meyer is a Professional Engineer with a degree in Geology (UBC, 1962) and was Vice-President, Exploration for Teck Corporation from 1993 to1998 and President of Teck Exploration Ltd. from 1979 to 1998. He joined Teck Exploration Ltd. in 1979 as Exploration Manager for Western Canada and the United States. In 1991, he was appointed Vice-President, Exploration, for Teck Corporation responsible for the direction of exploration activities for Teck and its associated companies worldwide. While at Teck he forged several deals with junior mining exploration companies and sat as Teck’s representative on the board of directors of those junior companies. His career has spanned more than 40 years, starting as an exploration geologist with Phelps Dodge Corporation of Canada and later as senior geologist with Gibraltar Mines Ltd. Mr. Meyer was a partner at the consulting firm of Western Geological Services in 1967 and formed his own consulting firm in 1975. He is currently on the Board of Minco Silver, Minco Base Metals (privately owned) and GGL Resources.
Over 35 years experience with CHC Helicopter Corporation, specializing in Global Operations. Extensive background providing services to the mining and oil/gas sectors. 20+ years experience as a senior officer, director and consultant to numerous resource companies.
Dr. Rael Lipson has over 40 years of global experience in the mining industry. He is a graduate of the University of Witwatersrand and earned his PhD from the University of Cape Town. Dr. Lipson was the Chief Geologist for Gold Fields Exploration, Inc. (“Gold Fields”), a part of Gold Fields Ltd., and recently left the organization after 36 years. Gold Fields is one of the world’s leading gold producers with nine operating mines in Australia, Ghana, Peru and South Africa. He strengthened Gold Fields competitive position by assessing the geological potential of gold projects around the world. Guiding the strategic direction for exploration investments, Dr. Lipson targeted projects ranging from greenfields to producing mines through joint-venture opportunities or acquisitions. Additionally, he pioneered the development of a knowledge-based software solution, Global Business Area Rating System (‘GBAR’) to identify the most gold-prospective areas on the globe based on geological criteria but balanced by sovereign risk.
A natural leader, Dr. Lipson strongly believes in coaching and mentoring the next generation of Earth Scientists. An active member of the Society of Economic Geologists (“SEG”) since 1992, he mentors in economic geology.
Vice President of Exploration, Officer
Mr. Pudar, a graduate of the University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina in former Yugoslavia, holds a Diploma in Economic Geology. Mr. Pudar worked at the Geoinstitute of Sarajevo, Bosnia, as a geologist from 1987 to 1992. After arriving in Canada, Mr. Pudar worked for several public and private companies involved in mineral property exploration. From April 1996 to March 1999 Mr. Pudar was employed by International Alliance Resources Ltd. as a geologist. He was Vice President, Exploration of Kolyma Goldfield Ltd. from April 1997 to March 1999. Mr. Pudar held a position at Big Blackfoot Resources as Project Manager and Chief Geologist from June 1999 to March 2003. He has worked with Golden Reign since 2006.
Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary
Ms. Pillon is an accountant with several years experience in the junior mining exploration sector, providing accounting and regulatory assistance to public companies. Ms. Pillon has been a director and/or officer of a number of public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Akiba Leisman is currently a Vice President at Wexford Capital LP which he joined in 2011. Prior to joining Wexford, he was a Senior Analyst at Red Kite Capital Management for the Mine Finance funds. Previously, he was an Associate at Standard Bank working in the Structured Commodity Products and Mine Finance groups. Mr. Leisman has an MBA from New York University, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Abraham (Braam) Jonker
Mr. Jonker has more than 20 years of extensive management, accounting and corporate finance experience across 5 continents, mostly in the mining industry. He currently serves as the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mandalay Resources Corp (MND: TSX). Previously, Mr. Jonker was the Chief Financial Officer of Western Coal Corp at the time of its take-over by Walter Energy for $3.3 billion. He is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales as well as South Africa. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts in the United Kingdom and holds a Masters degree in South African and International Tax from the Rand Afrikaans University.
Donald K. Mustard,
Special Advisor, Exploration
President and chief executive officer of Lysander Minerals Corporation and geological consultant from December 1986 to June 1997; and 1998 to 2008. Mr. Mustard is a Professional Engineer and geologist with over 50 years of exploration leadership in the mining industry. He is past president of the Canadian Geoscience Council, Interior Resource Users of B.C. and the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines; he has also worked with Anglo American Corporation and Amax Inc. Mr. Mustard formed BP Minerals (Canada) in 1972 and retired as its general manager in 1986. He has also served as a director of a number of exploration companies.
