Golden Reign Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: GRR) is a Canadian based mineral exploration company focused on gold exploration in Nicaragua - Central America's largest country.
Many gold deposits in Central America tend to be associated with epithermal style mineralization. The positive results at the San Albino Gold Deposit indicate strong potential for the development of an important orogenic style gold deposit and near-future mine operation.
Historic Discovery Showing Signs of Developing Into a Robust Resource
San Albino Gold Deposit. An initial, near-surface high-grade mineral resource estimate, delineated after only 15 months of drilling, comprises both open-pittable and underground resources. It also offers the near-term potential to add significant resources through surface trenching and definition drilling - additional in-fill and step-out drilling.

See the recently filed NI 43-101 technical report prepared by P & E Mining Consultants Inc. ("P&E") of Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
To date, only 0.6 square kilometres of the 2 square kilometre San Albino Mine area has been drill tested. All mineralized zones remain open at depth and along strike in both directions. Golden Reign is very encouraged by this initial resource calculation, which provides a cornerstone from which it can grow, adding additional potential resources in the San Albino Area and from numerous regional targets currently being assessed within its much larger 138 square kilometre land package.
Corona de Oro Gold Belt offers district-scale gold system potential.
- trenching on the 3 kilometre wide, 25 kilometre long Corona de Oro Gold Belt
- Permitting in place to accommodate 25,000 metres of trenching and 150,000 metres of drilling
- Numerous old mines and workings, including over 170 quartz vein structures, 112 adits, 148 mine dumps and 354 exploration pits
Golden Reign's objective from the onset has been to discover multi-million ounce intrusive related gold deposits.
The Company successful and systematic approach relies upon mapping, trenching and targeted drilling, while employing historical information where available to give the Company an exploration advantage.
